Saturday, October 23 • 8:00am-12:30pm
What does it mean to be a Christian in a woke world? A baptized child of God in a world where ‘oppressors’ are everywhere, where groups are pitted against each another, where natural law is ignored, where individuals are judged by the color of their skin? Wherein do we find courage to speak the truth in love and confess the hope within us?
Join us here at Saint John on Saturday, October 23 (8:00am-12:30pm) for our first Christian Faith & Life Conference. The Rev. Paul Dare — senior pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Minnesota and regular guest on Issues, Etc. — will present on the theme: “Christians in a Woke World: A Call to Courage, Confession, and Love.” This conference is geared to both adults and teenagers. We will dive into God’s Word, have plenty of time for Q&A, and enjoy some Christian fellowship interspersed with refreshments. For room setup and planning purposes, pre-register using the link below. While there is no cost to attend this conference, we will be accepting monetary donations to help defray the conference costs. All are welcome!
