PHIL’S FRIENDS:
Our youth group is planning a service project at Phil’s Friends on Saturday, March 28, 12:30- 2:00pm. We will be assembling care packages for those battling cancer. All are welcome. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Waiver Form the first time they volunteer. Visit https://philsfriends.org/individual- volunteer-opportunities/ to complete yours (any volunteer under the age of 18 must have a form submitted by a parent or legal guardian); please ensure this form is completed online before your event. Do you have a relative, neighbor, coworker, or classmate with and we will include them in the care packages we assemble. If you’d like to contribute to this organization, please make a check payable to Phil’s Friends and submit it to Pastor Mumme; they are also looking for 50x60" throw blankets (rolled, crocheted, or fleece tied) puzzle books, decks of playing cards, 5x7 journals (not spiral bound), and women’s fuzzy socks. The Hope Center for Phil’s Friends is located at 1350 Lake Street in Roselle. Volunteers need to arrive 15 minutes early.

FUNERAL PLANNING WORKSHEET:
As Christians we live in the joy of Christ’s death and resurrection for us. We face death the same way, confidently confessing Christ and His salvation. Funeral planning is not morbid, but a helpful tool for your loved ones and your
pastor. Whatever your age, consider picking up a “Funeral Planning Worksheet” from the table in the narthex, completing it, and returning it to Christina or Pastor. Know that Pastor Mumme is happy to meet with you if you have any questions or requests. What’s more, you are always free to make updates to this worksheet as desired. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Easter Lilies
The Altar Guild will once again be ordering Easter Lilies to beautify our chancel area for the Easter Sunday. Order forms for the Easter Lilies are located on the table at the entrance to the Sanctuary and in the Narthex. The cost is $15.00 each and order forms need to be turned in by March 30th.

Prayer Chain at St. John’s.
The Prayer Chain has prayer warriors which are always willing to pray for anyone in need. If you would like to become a prayer warrior, please contact Carol Evans 815-895-3212 or June Kamm at 815-981-8389.
